The layout of IPL 2022 is the same as IPL 2011. All 10 teams are divided into two groups. Each team competes with groups twice. Group A and Group B collide once. Each team of the two groups will play one additional match, to be chosen by lot. Thus, each team plays 14 matches in the league. There are 2 removers, 1 remover, and a finalist. Total 74 games in IPL 2022.
